Today we celebrate the feast of Saint David of Wales. Saint David was a priest who engaged in missionary work and founded many monasteries. He is also the patron saint of Wales.
There is a legend that says that once while he was preaching a dove descended on his shoulder and the earth rose to lift him high above the people so that he could be heard.
